I was skeptical going in to this cut-rate furnace tune-up deal. I expected I may be paying good money to be told how much I needed to spend on my furnace (which was working fine, but had not been serviced in several years).The service technician was the nicest guy. Very personable, and knowledgeable about my furnace. He went about taking apart and cleaning the parts. Bought an Angie's list coupon for a furnace inspection. Called and left a message. Got a return call that evening and was able to schedule an inspection for the following week (despite it being peak furnace inspection season). Was given a definite time (not a window of time). Ben showed up a bit early which was fine. He seemed thorough, efficient and professional.

Very professional technician. Was punctual and extremely polite. Tuned up both of our furnaces and cleaned up after himself. He even took a look at our gas fireplace which wasn't working properly and gave advice on what to do to fix it. Though it wasn't his area of expertise he gave some good tips. Their business is in Everett but I live in Burien so they cover a big area. I will definitely call this company again as I was very pleased with the job they did. Just in time for the crumby weather too!
Because our family room and playroom are an addition, there was no heating vents from our furnace to the rooms. Unfortunately, the way the addition was put on they weren't able to run ducts under the house through the crawl space but Ben came up with the great idea of putting in exposed ductwork which goes great with our eclectic style and we love it! Ben and Jason were on time, fast, professional and extremely neat. I highly recommend Black Lion!
They were very nice to speak with.Even though they are not going to perform the service from the Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased, they are going to give me an estimate on another service.
The furnace needed replacing so I was given a quote. I checked that out online and it seemed reasonable. I called and approved the replacement and they came out the next day and replaced it. I am happy with both the service and the new furnace. The only thing I was disappointed with was that a different person came out to conduct the replacement work instead of the person I already knew.
