The whole experience was great. The tech arrived on time, was very experienced and worked quickly. He patiently explained everything he did and answered all of my questions. He left the furnace unit and the surrounding area clean. I would definitely use them again in the future.
The technician arrived on time and was very professional. During the inspection he noticed that my furnace had a part that was recalled by the manufacturer and offered to replace it at no charge to me (covered by warranty). He did not have the part at the moment but we scheduled the follow up appointment for that.A part of the service was to replace the furnace filter. Outstanding!! A positive experience from start to finish. Ben went above and beyond the furnace tune-up service I purchased through Angie's List last August. He called to let me know when he was five minutes from my house, was so friendly and knowledgeable. And so very patient when I asked him questions about furnace filters and such! I used an Angie's List coupon to have Black Lion do a routine service on my furnace. The furnace is fairly new and was not giving me any problems -- I just wanted it cleaned/inspected before winter set in. The service was done promptly and well.
I selected Black Lion because they were competent andprofessional without being glitzy, and I felt I could trust them to do a good job. They installed the furnace more quickly than I expected and were respectful of things such as keeping the carpet clean and keeping the door closed to keep the cat in. The furnace works well, I got a good price, and am happy in general with the experience. I intend to use them for yearly maintenance.
It went well. The tch pointed out a few things to watch forin the furnace.
