I had purchased a big deal for furnace tune-up a few months back. I called the number on thedealtwo separate times and left voice mails requesting to schedule the service. Never got a call back. After the second call, I was having some issues with my electric bill and suspected something wrong with my heating system. When the guy from this company finally scheduled and showed up after the third call(which was finally answered), he discovered that I had a part that had failed. Neverreceived the estimate. I made a follow-upcall leaving a message for Ben. As of1/24/13 no response. It is difficult to do more than rate as an "F" for failure to respond. Bad & oh so sad.

I think he did the job, I was not there at the time. He didn't clean the exterior of the furnace and therefore nothing seemed as though it had been done. Didn't leave the receipt for the job and was slow in getting the receipt to me. Home inspector noted in a report that it seemed as though the job had not been completed.

I bought the $59 coupon for a furnace tune-up. After 3 voicemails and a week later, I finally got a call back and was able to schedule the service. The serviceman came and quickly announced that the control board needs to be changed (for $240 + work) and the burners arecorrodedand need to be changed (for $135 + work) - suddenly the $60 tune-up workmetamorphedinto a $500 service call. At that time, we determined your furnace did indeed require a new ignition control board with a cost of $240. He came over and said there was no point in doing the tune up since it was an old furnace. He gave me some quotes on a replacementbecause he said the furnace wouldn’t work but I’ve had no issues so far and I wanted to second opinions. I had the city come out and take a look at it and they said it was old but it would be fine.

I learned the burners have not been able to be removed for cleaning since the master bedroom walk in closet was installed. When he removed the plate to attempt to remove the burners, he discovered a large crack in the face of the fire box. I did need to ask him what all of that meant exactly;I.e. did it pose a fire risk. His response was yes and that he would not use it. He thenshut thefurnace down recomending a new one. He promised to e-mail a report so I could give it to the home's co-owner.
