I have had the service of the Bluebird carers for 3 1/2 years. I appreciate the reliability of the service and have recommended the service to my sister in law.

My brother has been cared for by Bluebird for approximately five years. Excellent communication with staff and office re his welfare. Unlike other care providers he had, Bluebird works with teams of carers and only occasionally is a new carer substituted in an emergency as continuity is vital for his severe condition. Carers provide thoughtful extras, e.g. helping out in their own time bringing in shopping. As judged by me, with my brother's input.

My mother has been under the care of Bluebird Care for 8 years. The care afforded her over this period has been excellent.

Bluebird came into our lives at a very difficult time when my mother was very poorly after a fall and diagnosis of vascular dementia. We needed support quickly and efficiently and from my initial contact with the manager, to initial assessment and implementation, the staff have been sensitive and very supportive. Extremely pleased with Bluebird Care. My very first phone call months ago went well, as the manager took plenty of time to explain the service and get to know my needs. There was no pressure to sign up, just a genuine willingness to be of service. We had a few follow-up phone calls so I could take my time thinking this decision through, and what I needed exactly. Bluebird provided excellent and accommodating care support (provision of lunch meals) for my father who suffered dementia and was forgetting to eat. The staff were always kind and caring to him. As and when needed effort was made to accommodate changed requirements, even at short notice. I would recommend this company.
Reliable good carers and they know what they are doing. I have no complaints about Bluebird Care (Edinburgh).
I always know which carer to expect to come and help me in the morning. The carers know my care plan and follow it. I have just had my annual review and although a few things have changed they will quickly be in place by next week. Carers are good sdtaff in the office are also very good. An alround thumbs up.

Our first experience with a care company for mum was summer 16 and it was not good, therefore following another lengthy stay in hospital my sister and I did our homework. I met with Bluebird prior to making our final decision and once we confirmed, we met again to go over, in fine detail, mums needs. The deputy manager came to meet mum in the hospital as did her 2 primary carers. There was also training to do as my mum is PEG fed.
