Overall, the service has been very good, however, there have been the occasional lapses. One of them being the client visitor sheets showing un-allocated and not being advised before the time who is actually attending. Very occasionally, a carer does not show up on time or does not attend at all. There is often no contact from the office in these instances, which can cause unnecessary anxiety on our part and requires us to call the office, which should not be necessary if the person on duty was doing their job correctly.

Bluebird Care Edinburgh has been supplying care for my mother over the past eight months and I have been delighted with the standard of care that she has received. Mum's carer quickly became like one of the family whilst delivering a professional level of care. I never thought Mum would accept a live-in carer in her home as she always fiercely protected her independence and didn't want a stranger living in her home but it has worked out perfectly. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

I would like to thank Bluebird for the excellent support and care my father received during the last 3 years of his life. Without their care and attention, kindness and compassion, it would have been impossible for us to support his wish to stay in his own home. Carers provide a consistently very high standard of care. They are warm, and responsive to mums needs and don't rush her. They are respectful of her dignity and her individual wishes. Mum knows the majority of her carers very well as the agency makes an effort to provide consistency. On the rare occasion, I have had to raise an issue with Bluebird, I have found them to be responsive and helpful and not at all defensive. After a difficult time with previous carers, I was recommended to Bluebird. I have built up a good relationship with the team. They have managed to give mum dedicated carers which means less stress for both mum and myself. The young girls are clean and smart and I can see them on the CCTV which is installed in the house. They are taking good care of mum and on a couple of occasions when mum's light bulbs have popped I have waited to see them come in and asked to change bulbs which has been no problem to them. I first contacted Bluebird following my Mum's illness in October 2020. It was important to organise support for my parents as I live in Oxford and I couldn't stay long term in Edinburgh. My parents are particularly pleased with the arrangement we have in place now and the reassurance that provides. It has been so helpful for me to be able to talk with the management team about changing requirements and tailor visit days and times to those to their needs.

The Carers are Bluebird have been very kind and caring to my mother. They have listened to my requests for change of timings etc and have accommodated our requests which is challenging in these times of the pandemic. Communication is excellent and we are now settling into a good routine with Mum feeling more relaxed and comfortable.

We have been using Bluebird Care for a year now, and as time as gone on my mum has been treated with care and kindness. Some of the carers have gone out of their way to help. there is good communication when any problems occur and we are informed about relevant changes.
