I have a "very caring" live in Carer. He is very attentive to my needs. He is always on hand when I call him. He assists me with my toileting and showering and prepares three meals a day for me; breakfast, lunch and dinner. He also washes my bed clothes and personal clothes. He is meticulous in ensuring my personal hygiene and that of the kitchen and my bedroom and its en-suite toilet and bathroom. Bluebird Care have provided excellent home care for my sister over the past few years. The staff are always friendly & caring. Amount of care is regularly monitored & I particularly like the App which gives me access to the carers notes as I live 170 miles from my sister I am able to check how she is each day.

My sister has been using Bluebird Care for over a year now and I am so impressed by them. They are always available and very adaptable and accommodating especially in emergency situations. For example, when my sister was ill one weekend they were able to arrange extra care visits immediately. Her care needs are reviewed frequently and any changes made as necessary. I really cannot fault the care that my sister gets from the staff at Bluebird. They are all so kind and thoughtful and I know that my sister is very fond of them and relies on them heavily. From a personal perspective everyone I have dealt with has been exceptionally kind and helpful and has instilled me with confidence about the quality of the care that my sister receives. Bluebird Care were amazing and all their staff were such lovely, kind people, during a really difficult time for my family. My father had late onset dementia and needed support with everything which they provided in such a respectful way. After a chest infection he then passed away very suddenly. The staff were so supportive, understanding and genuinely cared.

Bluebird care has some lovely carers. However please be aware that if the care user needs to go in to hospital Bluebird will charge you full price for every visit they would have done for a whole month (even though they are not actually doing any of these visits). I also found that the carers would not always stay for the full time of the visit, sometimes much less than the half an hour. Communication could also be better between the office, the carers and the user. I really rated many of the carers who looked after my Dad, ... read more

A phone call where possible to tell of time changes would be helpful. I have appreciated meeting all the kind and helpful carers.

Bluebird come to me for 1 hour every two weeks to help change my bedding and carry out any other tasks that are needed that day. Service always excellent so far.
