Our experience has been first-rate right from the first phone call. I was contacted immediately as to our requirements and wheels were out in motion. The care we have had from nearly all the carers, and supervisor, has been excellent. They care about the whole family, not just the person who they are looking after. They listen to your requests and go over and above in supporting the person - taking into account their needs and their interests. Bluebird care transformed our lives, everyone was so kind and friendly, whilst being efficient and caring in everything they did. It was like a friend coming in and gently taking the worry off your shoulders. There was nothing they weren't prepared to help with. You can arrange the type of care package that suits your needs and if your needs change after a time they are able to adapt as needed. My aunt has had Bluebird domiciliary care twice a day for over a year and we have been very pleased with the service. In September, my aunt had a fall, fortunately not too serious, however, she was left with significantly reduced mobility and we realised that she would need more care for a while. After my father's death in January 2018, my mother (who was then 91) struggled at home due to progressive Alzheimer's and deteriorating mobility. Bluebird Care initially provided a daily tea-time visit which was extremely helpful and reassuring as I lived 90 miles away. When Mum's condition deteriorated we arranged a full-time live-in carer in November 2018 from Bluebird Care. This arrangement continued until Mum died peacefully at home in August 2020. Initially Mum just needed a weekly visit, which became four visits a week, which became twice daily visits. Some help with shopping, companionship, light household duties - but most importantly, a friendly and sympathetic visit each and every time, from Bluebird staff that genuinely always had her best interests at heart. Loved the app - to follow the visits virtually, and to offer reassurance that Mum was being fully supported. We needed to provide daily domiciliary care (that quickly morphed into live-in care) for our father, who has various health challenges and our mother, who had just had a stroke. From the very first call, we were reassured that Bluebird was the right partner to provide care to our parents. When caring for my mother, with highly complex needs, became too much for me single-handed, it was such a relief to hand over her morning routine to the lovely carers from the Bluebird Witney team. They would arrive on time each morning, with friendly, cheerful conversation and encouragement, and complete the required tasks efficiently and respectfully.
