"Purchased/Leased four vehicles from this dealership since..." Purchased/Leased four vehicles from this dealership since 2007. Developed trust in them that, given my last purchase, was not deserved. Recently purchased an M550 at end of lease. Had CPO inspection done (at cost of $1,900) to get the preferred CPO rate (and extended warranty). Rushed through loan closing (my fault) and did not notice that rate was 1% higher than quoted during negotiation (2.49% versus 1.49%). "Tire change " Was quoted approximately $100 to change the front tires on my X1. At the end of the job the bill came to $300. When asked why it was so expensive they said that they aligned the wheels. While I think it may have been necessary there was no mention of cost. When asked, they said they have a “special “ machine that aligns all 4 wheels. We should have at least been advised as to the cost, perhaps we would have passed.
"do repairs not needed " Would not take your vehicle to this location. They do repairs not needed. Came in for one repair and ending up getting another repair and the repair i came in for wasn't repaired. The repair they performed did not work.
I like being different - I had test drove both a Mercedes and the BMW but wanted a unique color that I could easily spot in a parking lot. Fran found me the right shade of blue and I was sold. He didn't waste my time on things I was not interested in (e.g. I am never going to drive this car in the woods so don't tell me how it handles in rough terrain..)
went to dealership because my x5 had a hatch problem and check engine they diagnose and tell me i had water leaking from moon roof that time my moon roof working fine i said fix the water problem then they call next day with another problem said they need to change some wire and solenoid but after all check engine light still on long story short after i pick up my truck and pay couple thousand dollar i still have hatch problem and now my moon roof not working i went back they saying it is not connected to previous repair and... read more
I went into BMW Bel Air to potentially lease a new BMW. I had purchased my last BMW from the same dealership. It was time for a new car. I went in and asked for the advertised lease deal that is found on their website and tv. They said they couldn't honor it as they said it was the national ad. After dealing with BMW Bel Air, I am sorry to say that I will never purchase, utilize their auto care service, or recommend BMW Bel Air to any of my work associates or friends. Simple things like having the car cleaned inside and out to them seemed like they were doing a favor for me. Several purchase documents had incorrect values for purchase price and taxation.
