The only reason why I am not giving this dealership a half a star or no stars is because it's not available. They are dishonest liars and spike up the prices on their cars thinking the consumer is dumb and will buy from them. They bait and switch like they want you to buy and when you waste time going there they treat you the opposite. Walked in to get better price on 2016 X5 as I was told by the girl who called me asking me to come in. I walked In was told to wait for Sales manager Josh. I was told he would know why I was there but he had no clue and was condescending. I had already ordered my X5 from Northwest and was getting a great deal but was told they would match or do better at Towson and boy was I wrong!! I returned less than a week after my service appointment, because the night I took my vehicle home I noticed a new "quirk" that I thought perhaps had to do with programmed settings on my side view mirrors. The service coordinators Tom & Derrick were great- professional and pleasant. The service manager Richard should not deal with customers. Vehicle was purchased on 3/2 during cold weather. Audible vacuum leak was discovered several days later. I rubber hose to the intake manifold was worn and cracked. Noise only audible when windows were rolled down. BMW of Tysons, Bo Brand and Jim Abrecht were completely unhelpful, bordering rude and condescending when discussing replacement of a part that was bad when the car was purchased. About a year ago, I had to tow in my new BMW for a flat, I only had it for one week. They new the car was under warranty, and they still charge me for a new tire. I contacted Michelin and they said that the dealer knew the tire is under warranty for one year and they couldn't understand why they billed me. The service manager called me and I explained, but he sounded cold and uninterested. Also, the Michelin rep called him several times, and he was never available. I took my 2008 BMW 328xi to BMW of Towson on August 31, 2013 because I my car would not go in reverse. After the service department checked it, it was found that the problem was a transmission gear selector valve that had broken. Only 69, 000 miles and one payment left and this happens? BMW of Towson charged me $1,011 dollars for the repair. They held my car for ransom for 8 days until I came up with the money to pay the bill. Do not deal with this dealership period! They are criminals!
My wife is a disable military vet who was about to buy her first (used) BWM from Towson. I negotiated a fair price with the salesman before attempting to put a 5k deposit to hold the car till the weekend. The Manager Bo Brand said the dealerships policy is to NEVER take deposits on used cars. I received the most appalling service from BMW of Towson. After arriving at 8AM on Saturday morning to have my car diagnosed as to why the service engine light was on I stood waiting in the service lane for 30 minutes before anyone came over to greet me or to tell me they were busy and it would be a few minutes. I purchased a 2011 used BMW car from this dealer thinking that the dealer has checked out the vehicle and repaired any issues that needed to be resolved. After 3 months, I needed to take it in for an electrical issue (first time) with the battery not charging. They seemed to fix the battery issue for the short-term, but notified me about 2 rims being bent.
