I bought a used car from them all went well during the actual selling me the car. After I still had no plates and 3 days till paper plate expired I went to them to find out where the plates were. I was first told they were having a problem getting the title due to a pay off., then was told there was a mistake made on the vin so was gonna take couple more weeks to get the plates, they did give me a loner which I had for a month . I was positively surprised with the prices of the new vehicles. Other than that I didn't learn about most of the features of the car, when it came to the price, the numbers and fees kept changing which was very frustrating. Also the price of different warranties changed as well. It seemed like the finance managers were impatient.

As stated before, my experience with this dealership and salesman was satisfactory. We exchanged e-mails. I asked for a firm price quote, which they provided. I agreed to their offer and drove to Cedar Rapids and purchased the vehicle.

Below is email I sent to their customer service: Spencer and Kory, I am very happy with the vehicle so far. However, the overall buying experience and service after sale did not meet my standards of customer service. Spencer did a great job with me, showing me the car, some of the techie gadgets and going on the test drive. I received what I expected, hence I am satified. The only thing discouraging about this process is may having to respond to countless surveys and questions. I bought a car, not a lifetime of responding to computer generated dialog.

I had a good test drive. Found vehicles that had what I wanted. Are fixing the ding on the trunk lid. Maybe better information about all the things on my vehicle.

I have used this dealership a few times. I had a cam sensor reported as going out so they diagnosed it customer service people are good. however they told me they would contact me when the part came in since they had to order it then to set up a time and I called in two weeks after and found out they had it for a while. then I had to wait another 2 weeks to have part put in. (glad it wasn't something major) told them I can bring in the car at 7am to get the work done and they said wouldn't be no problem it was a 20 to 30 min... read more

Promises that were made during the sale were not followed through on by the salesman. Very disappointing. Immediately after the sale I wanted to buy another care here, but after the lack of follow-through. I will avoid Park Place Motor Cars for all future purchases.
