"Another lying car dealer. " Don’t buy a used car here. They sold me a loaner car with 7000 miles on it and a plug in the tire, did not disclose it leaving me now to buy new tires as it is bad. I called the dealer and left message for general manager two months ago and he has yet to return call. Salesperson did nothing either.
"Taken advantage of" We moved to Chicago in the summer of 2016 and shortly after, leased our X5 from Perillo. We lived in the city for the first year and didn't have any problems. In the summer of 2017, we moved to the suburbs and had our first real experience driving our X5 in the Chicago winter as we didn't really take the car out much while in the city. We purchased a 2010 X5 on Jan 6 and just received delivery this week (25 days later). We realize this was mostly due to Mfg recalls, but having paid cash for a car and not receiving it for nearly a month has certainly tested our patience. Then, upon delivery our frustration boiled over when the vehicle arrived with only 1 key, and was missing the all-weather floor mats (part of your required $189 charge). This is my 4th BMW in 15 years. I have lived in several states and dealt with a handful or two of dealerships. I have never seen such poor hours of service (Mon-Fri ONLY) and closed by 6pm with pick-up by 6:30pm. Perhaps the service people want to get home, but people have jobs that do not make it easy to get there by 6:30pm, especially with Chicago traffic. Bought my CPO 5 Series back in March 2017. After smelling something burning I took the car in for an inspection to my local BMW dealership (Not Perillo) which found a significant transmission leak. This was only two weeks after purchasing from Perillo and was told by another BMW dealership that the leak would have led to a complete transmission failure if not corrected immediately. Found a car on their website. Called the number listed, no response. Called again, no response. Literally, there was a ring and then it would stop ringing. Time to update the phone number perhaps? Then I asked for information on the vehicle on their website. There is a place next to the car that let's you do this. Waited 4 days, no response. Emailed someone called a BDC or liaison. I bought a 2014 CPO X1 from this dealer earlier this month. Although I was told it had new tires it did not. Apparently the tires barely passed the CPO inspection (4 mm) so they chose not to put new tires on the car. Now I had to replace all 4 tires due to a puncture in one and requested reimbursement of $625 from Perillo but they refused. Doing the bare minimum of inspection and trying to save a few hundred dollars will hurt Perillo's bottom line.
