I bought a 2017 BMW X5 from Don Jacobs. I had two issues in addition to the length of time held in the showroom sitting at the desk while salesman left to talk to managers. First issue is I wanted a hitch to put the my bike rack on the back, The salesman left to get the price which took quite some time and came back with a quote of $1100 which while high was acceptable. I took my car in for recall repairs and the shock separated when they lifted my car. Spring broke. They say they will not fix. Want to charge me $1400. It was fine before taking it to the shop.
We brought in our bmw for headlight bulb replacement and it was done, but our tailight did not work when we pulled out. So we brought it back for them to check, service said it need replacement and it will cost $500. It was functioning fine b4 we brought the car in. I know in my mind they were not honest. 03/2015 I purchased a 2009 BMW M3 coupe. Patron Hatcher was the salesman I worked with to buy this vehicle. Living In VA Beach I was kind of worried on buying it because it was out of state, but this is coming from a reputable dealership so I believed and trusted everything that Patron said about the vehicle. I visited the dealership on 11/7/2015, I was supposed to meet with a salesman once I get there I'm immediately pawned off to someone else. This guy treats me like I'm stupid doesn't even let me see the car that I am interested in before he starts running numbers and talking numbers. Arrived at the dealership to drive a car at 12:34, the sales person didnt have it ready, kept us buisy till it was ready to test drive. I test drove the car at almost 1:00 pm. Liked it and then tried to get the loan through our frozen credit due to Anthem "breech". Put almost $2000 down on the car and waited. I would like to express my complete disappointment with the Lexington Ky, Don Jacobs BMW service department. It took multiple days of trying to reach the service department to make an appointment for my BMW. I tried 2 times using my cars service connect and also placed multiple phone calls. I must say I have never dealt with a worse service dept. in my life! Dan Trisko is only worried about quitting time and does not want to help you at all. He refused to give me his last name when I finally had had enough of his crap. He was sure to give me his bosses name though with no hesitation. Which was Joe Sullivan!! i was going there for some time now and was very disrespected by the service manager, they charged me tons of money and over charged my company for doing the fixes and once when i had to come out of pocket to pay they over charged me and told me my business is no good to them, and being told in a tone as if i was a child, as for the repair work being done it was a terrable, i had to return my car everytime they could never fix the problem correctley they were just too busy worried about ripping off my company seems like. i w... read more
