My car is an older model (a 1990 325iS) and I have not had good luck with independent shops, who seem to lack both the parts to fix the car and the expertise to properly diagnose it, so I prefer the local BMW dealer, Don Jacobs BMW. I've worked with all 3 advisors (Dan, Lance and Jeff) and they're all very knowledgeable and friendly. Don Jacobs is not the cheapest, but I do get the car serviced properly without any issues afterword. The Don Jacobs web site usually has a coupon for discounts, so that helps with the pricing.
I am happy with don Jacobs other than the cost to work on BMWs in general. they are always freindly and courteous. They have nice, clean facilities. the work that I have had done there so far has been of good quality. As I said the only issue I have ever had is that it costs so much to have anything worked on.
I've been an Old Don Customer for almost two decades. Dan, Lance and Joey in the BMW service department, take such good care of me that I can't imagine going to any other dealership. The customer service there is always professional, courteous, timely and dependable. And I also trust that they are fair and honest, which is a concern for female customers in particular, and in this case one who doesn't know an air filter from a sparkplug.
I purchased a BMW because I wanted a reliable car that fit my driiving needs. The extended service warranty was a plus, as was the availability of a loaner car when repairs/service was needed. The purchase was relatively painless (though the offer for my Passat trade-in was ridiculously low). To this point I have not been disappointed with the car or the service. They get me in when it is convenient and I am back on the road in a reasonable amount of time. This was the third vehicle that I have purchased from Don Jacobs and ... read more
I'm a salesman and the last thing I'm looking for when I am buying a car, is a salesman using the same old sales techniques and pressure I am very familiar with. I am happy to say we didn't get that kind of treatment at all from David Monk. David was very personable yet professional, as he uncovered our buying motive and financial ability during the course of casual conversation. We were not pressured in any way at all. The process took a little longer than we expected, since we had traveled from Elizabethtown, but it was a ... read more
When it is time for my 5-series' routine diagnostics check, I know I can rely on Dan Trisko. The service is excellent, thorough, and not time- intensive. Dan comes off as one of the friendliest representatives at Don Jacobs, but he is also well-informed, charismatic, and available to answer any of my questions; whether I am on the road or at my home. It is if he takes the time to remember everyone personally, something that many customer service reps no longer practice in this fast-paced society. For that, I applaud Dan and ... read more
It seems that only dissattisfied people post on these sites. I would like to put a vote of support for the Staff at Don Jacobs BMW. My 1st BMW was purchased thru the overseas military sales program from a dealer in Bahrain. The Vehicle (2006 X-3) was delivered to Don Jacobs and the staff particularly Gary Joiner treated my wife with the utmost respect and courtesy. (Keep in mind during the delivery I was in Afghanistan) They treated her and the vehicle like they sold it. Gary took the time to explain everything on the car an... read more
I bought an 06 3 series CPO from them before I moved to Fresno. It took me two days to work out the deal but I was satisfied. Kathy was the sales person that helped me and I have been happy with the sales service. The finance guy was pushing the extended warranty pretty hard so that was the only thing I didn't like.
Extremely helpful with selection and new vehicle orientation. Financial intake was not cumbersome. Met at the door upon arrival and , as requested, insurance company was contacted regarding vehicle insurance.
