The worst BMW service location ever. They said that they checked everything, and handed me a printout about everything what needs to get fixed. They DID NOT MENTION ANYTHING about an engine oil! Four days after my visit there my engine started to make some loud noise, and I checked the oil level to make sure that there is enough engine oil. I wasn't surprised at all when I saw that there is NOTHING, totally nothing! The best advice is to question anything and everything you are told. The short version is that I brought in my 2011 335i, with 17k miles, as it was vibrating at high speeds. Diagnois and recommendation: Replace 3 damaged rims. Must have been potholes they tell me. Cost: $1,500 + I was shocked and did not authorize the replacement. I went online and researched. Showed up at this dealership to browse the inventory. I had to actually go inside to find a sales person after walking around the lot for 25 minutes. Noone seemed to want to help me. Guess I should have changed out of my jeans and wore a suit if I wanted any kind of service. I eventually had some grumpy old man begrudgingly assigned to me. They will try to wring every last penny out of you. I brought my BMW in to be serviced because it was shaking a bit. A week later and 1800$, it wasn't covered under my extended warranty. I get the car back and it is still shaking. They lie. The people there make a commission on every part they sell.
My engine was shuttering and Bridgewater BMW was offering a free check engine light service. I called the service department, made an appointment for 8:30 am and left my car to have it checked out. At around 3:30 I received a call and was told that my car was checked out and needed all new coils, new spark plugs and a new water pump. The cost would be approximately $3,000. My 2001 530I was towed there after breaking down and was told the battery needed to be replaced. They charged me $179.93 to install and charged me $274.95 for the battery. I was unhappy but what could I do even though my dealer told me they would do same for $280.00. Well less than a week later I broke down again in my driveway same as last experience, and I have waited for them to call me and there has been no reply. AVOID THIS DEALER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The service manager at Hunterdon BMW, was rude and unprofessional. He made it very clear to me that he did not value me as a customer -- I asked him point blank if he cared if he lost me as a customer and he said "No!". I sent letters and emails to the general manager and the owner simply asking for an apology from their service manager, but neither one ever responded -- not even a form letter. I did not purchase my 2002 BMW 525i from Hunterdon BMW, but my wife did purchase here 325i there. We have had both cars in for repairs in the past and I have been lukewarm to their service. First, I thought their prices were high and, after comparing them to other local dealers (Flemington BMW and Princeton BMW) I have confirmed that they are the most expensive place to get service.
