Sales person Mike Watson was great. Very pleasant. Easy interaction. No pressure. Coming to finalize purchase terms, including my trade in, was also very easy and comfortable. I rate Mike very highly and would purchase again from him. The overall rating of our experience was downgraded by what happened next. The person who actually closed the deal on the day of pick up - Ozzy - was not good and was the one negative aspect of the experience. If this review is not clear it is directed towards Dave Wagoner, the manager at Bridgwater. I met this man today on September 17, 2016. Dealt with two of his very courteous client advisors and was given admittedly a great deal. I tell the client advisor on Thursday via email that I would be coming in on Saturday with my wife. The car I want is in stock but they could not get it for me to see in person from their Lebanon, NJ lot so I am asked to negotiate without seeing the car. Very poor knowledge of their vehicles as far as sales is concerned, poor workmanship - car was left filthy and unwashed, not prompt - overal terrible customer service!
I made several trips here to research a 320xi purchase for my wife, coming once with her for a test drive with Martin Hernandez and getting a price quote. Not only was the initial quote not in the same ball[park as other dealerships that I had (only) interacted with online or by phone, but I found the whole approach demeaning and insulting. While Martin, and previously Justin, were respectful and helpful, the manager Mike turned me off with his attitude. THey seem to cater here to a very well-heeled demographic. Let me start by saying I love my BMW. It is truly a great car. However, if you want to ruin your purchase experience come here. I buy a lot of cars not because I am a dealer but because I love cars. As a result I deal with a lot of dealers. Hands down this is the worst dealership that I have ever dealt with. I am sitting in the lounge waiting to return my vehicle. The dealership repeatedly messed up appointments we had to have an inspection of the car prior to returning it therefore making me skeptical that I should bother making an appointment to return my lease. Now I have been waiting for 50 minutes with no end in sight and it is not even busy. I am watching employees walk around doing nothing or offering beverages to potential buyers. I purchased a new BMW from this dealership in August, 2014 at which time I purchased a 5 year BMW Tire and Wheel Protection Policy. I was informed that I could cancel the protection policy at any time during the 5year term and receive a prorated refund by simply contacting the dealership Business Manager. Had a flawless purchase experience with a vehicle on inventory not available at my regular N-NJ dealer. However,3 months down the line, a subsequent account issue with BMW connected drive services was handled extremely poorly and has tainted my confidence for this dealership as below: As per BMW assist, the dealer recently submitted information for a customer with a similar name to the remote services department which wiped my data after a seamless 2-3 months of use.
