I took in my vehicle for a recall repair and left the dealership with the problem worse than what it was when I drove into the dealership.
We went shopping at Lou Bachrodt for our dream car. Found one we liked, took it out for a test drive and went inside and filled out the required paperwork...all on a Saturday. Monday we get a call from Scott Henneberry requesting verificaion of financial items. Faxed all required paperwork Monday morning, called Tuesday morning to find out if they received the requested items, left a voicemail and now here it it wnesday night and we haven't heard from anyone. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Took days to buy our used VW, paperwork was never ready when we asked it to be (after all the details were worked out and we agreed on the purchase), they had to bring us the paperwork to sign in WI afer 3 days of not having stuff ready. Car was supposdly detailed although we found trash in the seat backs, stains and marks on the plastic around the interior. My car was taken there for warranty work on a damaged trunk, They initially stated they would perform the work, then after they had repaired it unsuccessfully 3 times they said that it is not covered by warranty and they performed all of this as good will work. My trunk has chipped pain where it meets the bumper, it will rust. Terrible costumer service, Bill is the service manager, he has yet to get involved and try to rectify the problem. Salesman very nice, promised us we could walk out with a check for a rebate the next day if we purchased today. When we got in with the finance ogre he stated that "we never do that", so I walked out. They lost the deal over a measly $1000, they must be about to go broke!!
I had to bring my Chevy Venture in to their service area 9 times in an 8 month period to have the same/related problem fixed. Twice they misplaced my vehicle on the lot. They lost reservations to have the vehicle worked. When I brought my concerns to the service advisor he didn't seem to care about me or my issues. It wasn't until the GM was involved that my vehicle was finally fixed. Lou Bachrodt Automall's service department sucks.
