My new vehicle was damaged while at the dealership during a dealer recommended installation of an aftermarket product. My vehicle was driven to my home without my permission, approximately 20 miles, and seen on a residential street speeding. Overall, horrible experience and I wish I had purchased the vehicle at another dealership.
First time there I serviced my 2002 E39 M5. Beth, Themis and the M-tech who worked on my car were great. Actually all employees were friendly and professional. Outstanding communication, service and quality. The dealer is more expensive than smaller shops but they offered me several discounts to ease the pain :). I will definitely go back and I strongly recommend them. 2 years later the rear door vapor barrier has failed. BMW you are NO good!

2 years later Otto's BMW service work has failed. The rear door vapor barrier is gone bad again. Beth told me on the phone that I am out of warranty! That much about fixing problems based on factory standards. 2 years the charm. I am very disappointed with BMW, their service and luck of quality. Shame on you BMW. I am not coming back. Love the car, hate the service department I brought my car in on Friday and here it is Wednesday at 2:00 pm and I still don't know if my vehicle is ready for pick-up. I called Friday afternoon to see if my AC was fixed and if service had identified the persistent squeak coming from the rear (a problem that I brought it in for a year ago but they were not able to hear it - get hearing tests for your mechanics). I was in the market to get a new 328 and I actually spoke with all the nearby BMW dealerships in the area (Mainline, Devon Hill, West German, Reading) and I initially decided to just deal with Otto because the staff seemed friendly and Scott seemed very professional during the test drive and in answering all my questions. Update: The price was given to me on the phone but I was charged the correct amount ($4.10)when I went there. I guess it was a mistake. So Disregard my message below. Unfortunately site wont let me delete it. Parts are ridiculously expensive. Part that listed as $3.93 on BMW's list price is sold at $10.50. Same part is $4.10 on BMW of Devon hill. I hate this dealership. The older women at the front counter is rude and condescending. Every time I have brought my 5series in for service all I hear about is how horrible her life is and how her husband just got back from Iraq. I don't believe this to be professional in the least. I don't believe you should talk about your personal life at the work place. I also over heard her having an argument with her daughter Sarah while standing behind the counter. I purchased a used 3-series from Otto's that came with a 90-day dealer warranty. Before I purchased the car, I specifically asked if any problems could be fixed at a dealership in NJ or if the car needed to be returned to Otto's for repair. (This was rather important given that Otto's was located nearly 50 miles away from where I lived.) Well, I got a brand new 328I at the end of Aug, and it was there in Sept for a headlight being out. When I got it back three other lights came on, so I called the service dept, back to let them know what was going on. There response was that is was "normal" for those lights to be on. Which i highly doubt they are because they are still on. I went to Devon Hill a few years ago, and they were absolutely the best as far as service and sales, no pressure or anything, unlike Otto's.
