"Car was brought in over night on Saturday due to computer..." Car was brought in over night on Saturday due to computer failure. Dealership had night drop off. Was called the following Sunday by manager to confirm receipt of car. Was told by Ben, SA, that work had begun and found the problem already. Had explained this had happened before and computer reflash was done to original ECU unit. ECU unit replaced, took 2 days for BMW to approve the replacement. I have been taking my cars to your Bayshore location for service. Unfortunately Service advisers are not properly doing their jobs. I came in for repairs and they told me that my extended warranty and CPO expired. "Problem with faulty tire air gauge reading. Solution..." Problem with faulty tire air gauge reading. Solution offered at a cost was to use nitrogen gas in the tire. I understand air pressure will change with climate change and running time, but a properly designed system should not have this problem. Either the presure measuring device needs to be redesigned or BMW should use nitrogen gas to inflate the tires, and definately not charge the customer for their inability to provide a properly functuning product.
