This place is very inconsistent. Had one good experience, then bad service and literally cold food.
I was really quite disappointed in Boca. The pictures and reviews on yelp were so good. We were early for our reservation so we sat at the bar first. The bartender had the personality of a slug. He seemed completely disinterested in anything relative to customer service or his job. When our table was ready the hostess seated us and she was very pleasant. We LOVED our food at Boca. After we waited 22 minutes for a server to acknowledge us. We had a reservation for 11, were seated at 11:01, then waited for 22 minutes. During that time we asked the hostess if our table had a server, but she didn't seem to be very concerned. Once we finally got a server, the meal was delicious. We weren't the only one having issues - when we went up to ask about a server, another man said "Oh, we're not the only ones with this problem?!" Terrible experience. Slow service. Seated right next food storage area - our dinner was constantly interrupted by staff going in and out of the door carrying food products. Small portions served well below desirable temperature. Dessert served with hair in it. Will not return

We found this restaurant while on holiday last year and decided to come back as it was very good. Made a reservation online for 7.45. When we got there we were told we were seated outside which wasnt ideal as it was chilly out (December) and we didn't have jackets...so a table was found for us through the very back of the restaurant near the toilets and kids high chair storage area, there was no atmosphere and the table was obviously never used as there were table covers etc lying over the seats. I reserved a table 2 months in advance for a celebration, sister's 23rd anniversary and my father's birthday and son's birthday. I scheduled in advance as well as left a message stating it was a "special" occasion...not only was it NOT special it was an awful experience. We have eaten at Boca many times and have always enjoyed the experience. Today was much different. To begin I requested a standard table but was told only a high top was available. I was ok with that, but what I was not told that it was next to the brick oven and that it was extremely hot. I tried to order a Bloody Mary, but they had run out. Eight of us had a 12:30 reservation on a non-holiday Sunday. We did not get seated until 1:00ish. This was not all Boca's fault; the table reserved for us was being taken by people that had long paid their bill. That being said, we were pretty hungry by the time we were sat. It took 55 minutes to get our food. The restaurant did send out complimentary chips, but offered no explanation as to why it was taking so long to get our dishes out.
