Bread is so not good. Entrees and salads were awesome, definitely over priced but I guess your paying for ambience. Heard that you get fresh baked cookies and a shot of limonchello, only got cookies and they were definitely hard :( Will I go back, maybe for a special occasion!
I have never been let down at Bond 45. So when My wife and I were looking to have Christmas Dinner with friends somewhere, lets just say there was a very short list for what we were looking for. Bond 45, you knocked it out of the park again! I honestly felt like the menu is over-priced for the quality of food. It is not a restaurant on my "must go back" list.
Absolutely amazing!!! It's pricey but let's face it, it's DC area and everything is. Recommend the steak of course. Wine was amazing well recommended.
Food was very good although the pacing of the meal could have been better. Entres arrived just after the appetizer had appeared.
I have been to Bond45 4 times. The first three times were incredible, the food, service, and ambiance were nice. But my fourth visit on New Years Eve was horrible. Our food was ruined by a chef who was in too big a hurry to take time and get some 48.00 steaks right. I am done with Bond 45. I can get a better steak far cheaper at other resturants.
The two top tables were extremely close together. I could hear the conversation right next to me and it was uncomfortable. The food and service was outstanding.
We went to an early dinner on New Year's Eve and based on the reviews, we were very excited. The food was great. We were seated in a small room overlooking the Christmas Tree, but the light bulb in the over head fixture was terribly bright, and we were told it could not be dimmed or turned off, even though there was track lighting in the ceiling that cast plenty of light. This is one of my favorite restaurants to take family, friends and special business guest. The service is always amazing, the food is good portions well prepared and the location is perfect.
