We went there to celebrate our 29th anniversary, and the staff made us feel welcome with a complimentary glass of champagne when we arrived and a complimentary glass of lemoncello at the end of the meal. The waiter was informative and attentive. The caprese salad was fantastic -- half a dozen mozzarella cheeses to choose from with beefsteak tomatoes. Outstanding staff and great menu.
We celebrated New Year's eve and our 30th Wedding Anniversary at Bond 45 and were not disappointed. The food was great and we brought home enough food to have a second delicious dinner with the leftovers. We can't wait to return.
Bond 45 is a WONDERFUL added restaurant to National Harbor! I wiil definitely be a return cusomer. The atmosphere is fantastic and the food I just cannot put into words it was just FANTASTIC!! The staff is top notch and very informative.
Saturday night at National Harbor on a holiday weekend may not have been the best time to try Bond 45. They seem to be sorting out how best to handle families and crowds. This is definitely not a "cheap eats" destination and we expected a slower, more thoughtful evening, but the service felt rushed. Had a great new year eve at Bond 45. Was upbeat but not clubby like the normal new years scene. Filet was awesome and Johnnie Walker Blue pour was generous.
Food was very good, everything is a la carte, meats and fish dishes were priced between $30-45, salads, soups, side dishes all extra and ranged from $7-15. Bread was absolutely amazing. Recommended dishes would be osso bucco, shrimp scampi and the filet mignon. Complimentary chocolate chip cookies after dinner were a nice added touch. Staff was very attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place if you were in the National Harbor and looking to celebrate with a delicious Italian style dinner.
Food is good but not exceptional. Prices are very high but not in line with the quality of the food. Drink prices are high for no reason other than the location. Service is very willing to sell you alacarte items without telling you the price. In summary, it's good but not worth the price.
