The service was gracious and set this experience apart. We celebrated a birthday and were very pleased with the lovely touches and attention that the staff paid to our special occasion. The food was fine, particularly the steaks. The rest was less spectacular than the price of the meal warranted, especially fried items.

There is nothing to write home about with Bond 45. Could have stayed closer to home and had the same food, maybe better at Flemings or Ruth's Chris. My steak was cooked correctly but was only lukewarm when delivered to the table. Ambience was so so. Absolutely no wow factor. Not enough salad choices and most of the food was quite heavily laden w/ chesse or cream/butter sauces.Do not plan to return and would not recommend it.
The bright neon sign is what caught my attention while walking around National Harbour. The decor could be described as classic italian/european and is similiar to Clyde's. The menu has both a mozzarella and proscuitto bar. My farvorite part of the meal was the warm popovers. As a midwesterner I rarely find popovers on the East coast (although they serve them with olive oil instead of butter). There is no entree for a vegetarian, but there is plenty for beef lovers.
Great food. Service was wonderful. Would recommend to anyone. New additions to menu really enhance the food selection.
The birthday celebration at Bonde 45 for my sister was excellent! It was beyond our expectations! Even the music was great, I love jazz and the music played was the icing on the cake. It was a huge success! Thank you for making her special more special.
This was our second dining experience at Bond 45. The menu is for those who love steak, lobster, crab and shrimp which are their specialties along with cheese plates. I had a 2 lb lobster stuffed with crab and shrimp, hubby had pan seared scallops and we ordered the fried artichokes and asparagus parm. as sides. He also ate a casear salad which he proclaimed to be "excellent." Lobster was wonderful but sides were horrible.
