We had a late lunch before Cirque du Soleil, so there were not many people in the restaurant. They were quite accommodating and the food was very good.
Decor and ambiance are fantastic - Old world New York style. Unfortunately, the service was lacklustre; our waitress was not personable or friendly. Worse - the very pricey food was only mediocre in taste. For a night out at an expensive restaurant, I would have expected the dishes to be amazing. Not so. I'd go again for a drink at the bar and perhaps an appetizer, but have no plans to return for a meal. Not worth the price for dinner.
We celebrated our anniversary by having dinner @ Bond45 and then attending opening night of Cirque Du Soleil - OVO. The show was great.....dinner was just OK. The food didn't wow for the price we paid and the service was on the slow side....The view from outside was lovely and the popovers were delicious...Perhaps if we'd ordered steak my review may have been different...I had the Shrimp Scampi and my Husband had the Chicken.
We sat on the patio- had a good view- and a great time.
This was our second special occasion dinner at B45, and just as good as the first - which was great! Especially loved the Porterhouse for 2, which was amazing. All the appetizers and entres were delicious. And the choc moose w/ whipped cream for dessert ranks off the chart. Can't wait to go back.
I’ve been in the DC Metro area for eight years and this was by far the best dining experience to date. I made reservations via Open Table and wrote in that it was an anniversary dinner. I didn’t expect anything different. However, from the moment we got there the staff treated us like royalty. They knew it was our anniversary and made every effort to make sure we had a great time. While this restaurant was very, very expensive, it was very, very good and we would definitely go back for special occasions when $$ are not an issue. The wait staff and manager were welcoming and customer friendly.
The food was good, but overpriced. The service was fantastic.
Great food. Prices were really expensive !
