Heard so much positive reports about the stellar service and how they make you feel like family. Sure, we were greeted at the door, but our waiter seemed mostly disinterested. We had the Crab Steak and the Filet Mignon, both were fantastic! The Burrata with beefsteak tomatoes was excellent. And who doesn't love free chocolate chip cookies they were bringing around!
Service and ambiance don't nearly match the prices, but the food is delicious. For the prices charged you really would expect them to provide stellar service but the place was packed, so I guess there is no real incentive to step it up. Ambiance is great, but they are pretty loose with dress code and allow children to run loose, so it is what it is. For the food I highly recommend it, but just be forewarned that it is not your typical steak house experience, but it is your typical steak house pricing.

Wow what a find! I was in town for a convention and got tired of eating in the Gaylord when I stumbled upon Bond 45. When I say the steak was outstanding well that's an understatement. The service was very welcoming from the moment I walked in the door the matre d just set the tone. The waiter Carlos was about as friendly and professional as I have ever experienced. If there is any negative it's the fresh cookies that were paraded in front of me. I'm on a diet or els that would have perfect.
My husband and I went to Bond last night and had a great experience. The greeting we received by the host was extremely welcoming. We sat near a window with a great view of the Potomac. My husband had the New York Bone-In that was cooked to perfection. I ordered the Clay Pot Fish and it turned out to be one of the best fish dishes I have ever had. We have been three times, first time was amazing, second left us wanting more but the third time was back reminded us why we loved it so much. If you can, go during the weekday as it is less crowded and you will get more personalized attention. Let them know you'd like a view of the river and be there when the sun sets.

This visit was my husband's and my second visit. The food was just as great this time as was the the last. The service is always prompt and efficient and everyone on staff seems wonderful. I would recommend this place whether its a special occasion or just a night out. The view of the Potomac are great as well.
