We had a nice dinner at Bond 45 but we were not prepared for the cost - very pricey! We were unable to see prices on website so it was a bit surprising when we saw menu. Our waiter was helpful in suggesting ideas but EVERYTHING was an upcharge which we were not made aware of when ordering. Not sure I can justify a $50 ribeye steak and an extra $28 for a SMALL amount of lobster on top in this economy. Good food but too expensive.
I must admit that I was somewhat disappointed with my experience here. Upon walking into the restaurant, there is no one to greet you (no host table). I saw many (including myself) guests confused as to where they should go. We ended up walking past the bar, to the opposite end of the restaurant and found a host there. My dining experience was very pleasant. Our table was right outside overlooking the national harbor. The food was cooked perfectly and I loved the way the steaks were cooked and tasted. The garlic mashed potatoes were a bit dry, so it helped to have the bernaise sauce. It was for my girlfriend's Birthday which she enjoyed very much. The warm chocolate chip cookie as dessert was a nice touch! Thank you!

I really enjoyed the food and the service. I will come back again. It is a little expensive.
The manager, Elle Kendall, was most gracious and made our evening very enjoyable. She served us complimentary champagne and after dinner lemoncello. We will definitely so back because of her!
