It took 20 mins for a server to come to our table and another 15 mins for him to bring our drinks. The restaurant was basically empty on a Friday night at 10p but it still took over an hour for our food to arrive. The only reason my boyfriend and I didn't get up and walk out is because we were hosting another couple. This restaurant used to be in point when it first opened, but it has since gone down the drain in service. I wouldn't recommend for anyone to waste their time.

We went to this restaurant for a birthday dinner and were disappointed in the food. My friend ordered the surf and turf which was more expensive than expected compared to other steakhouses, and the steak was over-cooked and the lobster was rubbery. He could not even finish the lobster because it was so bad. The server was nice enough but forgot a drink order and gave us the wrong bill at the end of the night. The only good thing was the bartender at the beginning of the night who was very nice and made good drinks. We would ... read more

I have never written a review before but our experience was so bad I thought it was important to share it. We are big fans of Bond 45 in NYC. Therefore, we were excited to go to this restaurant on our Easter vacation. The food was terrible and the service is not what one would expect from this caliber restaurant. My husbands steak was dry and overcooked. My veal was tough, chewy, and drowned in bread crumbs. The asparagus we ordered came with a glob of half melted cheese on it. The only thing that is worth mentioning is the ... read more

This was an impromptu evening with our college and high school aged children before they all left for school in the Fall. We did have a great window seat in the smaller room by the water, but that was about it for the pluses. Dinner was overpriced, service was slow, we were there at least 2 hours and finally had to go find the waiter to get our check. We can't comment on the dessert or after dinner drinks because our waiter went missing in the middle of our meal. Poor service for lots of money. We will definitely not be back... read more

Seating was cramped, in a sparsely populated venue. (Tables positioned in a way that made it extremely difficult to be comfortably seated, but great if I wanted to listen to the conversation at the adjoining table) Manhattan with no garnish. ( I prefer a cherry, but the bar doesn't stock them) They offered No cocktail forks, nor bibs for our $84 lobster, made the eating an interesting challenge. A $46 ribeye that looks and tastes as though it were fresh out of the Murray's box, with a limited selection of options to accompan... read more

I went for a Saturday lunch and the food was mediocre as well as the service. A friend and I were there to catch up and the waiter/hostess/manager all came over every five minutes to check on us. It was very annoying and rude to say the least. The food was bland and the complimentary cookies were served to us off of the baking sheet into our hands with no plates and did I mention that they were hard as a brick. This was just not a good experience all around. I will not be returning.

This was our 5th time dining at Bond 45. In all the previous times, we have had no complaints. We have raved to our friends about Bond, but after last nights melt down, I am sure Bond is what it used to be. We heard several other tables complaining about their food before our dinner was brought to the table. It was nearly an hour into service when our food started to arrive. Not all food was presented at the same time. There were 3 in our party and we each ordered the 8 oz filet. Two MW and one M. None of the steaks were coo... read more

This was our second visit to Bond45 for Christmas dinner and we were very disappointed. After being seated and our server Katelyn asked if we wished to order wine or an appetizergot a different attitude by making sure our experience was less than enjoyable. She would only come to our table after she made sure the other two tables in our section had everything they needed and made several return trips to both of these tables to even personally make sure they had all they needed. She even went as far as serving those tables th... read more

I never send food back, however, my filet was overcooked. Bond 45 has Palm menu prices however, the food and service pale in comparison.
