The service is very terrible. You have to ask for things twice if not thrice and it takes a long time after asking for it the second time. The food is not that great either, lack in flavor and its overdone. I asked for a medium rare steak and it was done medium to the point that I found myself chewing enough before I could swallow my steak. I have been to Bond 45 many times and have always had a great experience until this past time. From time of our arrival until we got our check was 55 minutes (not how I wanted a special evening to go). The waiter rushed everything and was rude when we asked to wait a few mins to put in a food order. To their credit, they were very busy and most people looked happy but I would not go back for another special occasion soon.
The quality has gone down since it has opened. Food just average for the price. Better options are in the area.
The food was truly sub par. Calamari that was way to salty. A caesar salad app where giant pieces of lettuce were just thrown on a place and the absolute worst fettucine alfredo I have ever tasted. First of all, it was orange. Second, both the noodles and sauce were terrible. They were not fettucine noodles and the sauce was not alfredo sauce. The food overall was bad. Not worth the trip, the time and definitely not worth the ridiculously over priced cost.
We went on a recommendation of family - I'll start with the wait staff - they were very nice and attentive, to a fault. Hovering around our table constantly. Very annoying. My husband got the 14oz steak - $46. The steak itself was very good, however, the portion of mashed potatoes was about a 1/2 cup's worth, and 2 onion rings. I arranged the dinner for my business partners and didn't want to detract from the evening by complaining, but my lobster shrimp lasagna was terrible! Dry, cold, certainly not fresh. I ate 2 bites and left the rest. I will be returning to attend conferences in National Harbor many times in the future, and will have the need to host similar dinners, but I don't think Bond 45 will be on my list.
Unfortunately, I can't say this was the best experience actually it was frankly one of the worst. Starting with the climate - was extremely cold in the restaurant, they didn't have any of my selected appetizer or entree. The alternative selected entree was sub-par; overcooked, cold and bland. Not worth the price at ALL. I will be patronizing this establishment again...
since 2012, this has been the most overpriced bullshhhhh i have been to . bread........came cold appetizer- calamari & shrimp........cold filet mignon-.......ok asparagus.......some overcooked red snapper.......ok....but it came with wedge potatoes, capers, small tomatoes and olives in a SALTY tomato sauce (from the can)...guess they added the tomatoes to cover up that it was can tomato sauce.........all for a whopping $132.00 and change.......was so disgusted, i spoke to a sister in NJ to tell her about the ordeal and she a... read more
I would avoid at all costs! We went here for brunch and both omelettes were dry and unfilled. I couldn't even eat half of my meal because it was so unappealing. Worst of all, our waitress was never around (unless I saw her texting in the other room). She was very cold, the food was bad, and the prices were outrageous. We will never return- such a disappointment.
