Reservation for 7; table set for 6. Antipasto was great. Main courses arrived just after salad course was served and all meat was over-cooked.
Food was not great. There was no ambiance-it was more like eating in a barn - as a couple there was no privacy whatsoever. Service was horrendous. Our server was MIA the majority of the time.
I was very disapointed. Food was good but not great. For the price it was not a good value. The service was bad. In their price range the bar needs to seperate from the dinning. The noise from the bar dominates the restaurant. Carabras and Maccroni Grill will be my next choice for Italian food.
I found Bond 45 to be disappointing. It was difficult to carry on a conversation due to the noise level. The parmesan potatoes were dry and the steak, although nicely presented, did not stand out in taste or quantity for the price. If I were to return, I would possibly try the small plates or one of the pasta dishes.
By 8:15pm the restaurant was already out of many items (lobster, shrimp scampi, desserts, tea kettles). Being that it was the Saturday night before Valentine's day, I would have expected the restaurant to be a little better stocked. We were seated swiftly at 8:00pm, our reservation time, but our appetizer (mozzarela and tomatoes) did not get to our table until almost 45 minutes after it was ordered, as well as service being slow for drinks and a basic bread basket. Had a reservation and still waited 15min to be seated in a remote section in the front the restaurant (not the main dining area) where there were only 2 tables. When we asked the person who seated us for restaurant week menus, he looked annoyed and gave our party of 4 ONE menu to share. Our server also made no mention of the prix fixe menu. I was actually very disappointed in the meal. I had the filet mignon and it was brought out with no garnish or anything simply a piece of meat in the middle of a huge white plate and the temperature was not very hot. I also ordered asparagus for my side which never arrived. My husbands steak was also not very good. I would not recommend this place at all. While the service was good the food and presentation leave a lot to be desired.
Terrible: my wife and I visited for Valentine's Day. We sat at a cramped table in a corner in which the heat was blowing on us making both me and my wife sweat. We both felt confined. Wife ordered a filet which had zero flavor. I thought she was overreacting, but I tried a bite and spit it out. I ate pork chop and experienced the same thing. Didn't care for menu selection. Will not return.
The restaurant was very nice. Food was okay and lacked seasoning. Waiter was rushed due to large number of tables he was responsible for.
