While overall my experience was OK, I do not like being referred to as “sweetie or hone” by perfected strangers, in this case my waitress, who was 25 years my younger. Greeting customers as “Miss ” would be much more appropriate. I chose Bond 45 to celebrate my 51st birthday and I don’t know that I would return. However I think you should work on your employees since repetition of customer service.

Service is poor. We had to ask for bread which is to be provided automatically (and was provided to other tables). When a waiter apparently brought an extra glass of water for the table next to us, rather than simply return it to the kitchen, he put it down on our table in front of an empty chair and walked away. Service was terribly slow. Even though The Washington Post said we would automatically get cookies after our meal, we never did.

Our waiter was very nice and the restaurant is beautiful. The food is highly overpriced and was average in taste. It was not worth the money spent. I have also never heard of an Italian restaurant without pasta. We were a bit annoyed that there were no kid options on Father's day. The skin was left on the salmon on my salad and it left a fishy taste on the greens. The dressing was tasteless and I think someone slipped when adding the olives to the salad as there was about a cup of olived on the salad. We won't be back.

Quite disappointing...at New York prices! Have not been to a US restaurant where you couldn't get tap water...they charge $2.75 a person for unlimited "their" bottles water... Nothing special here...Waiter only brought our wine when we asked for it midway through our entree.... The pop-overs were great though!

We were expecting a bit more from this restaurant - it was adequate, but we thought it would be much better. We had heard such wonderful things. I will say though that it was our best dining experience at National Harbour.

Over priced and under embellished. Plain steaks/chops, very little in the way of Italian food (despite the label) and almost no vegetable side dishes. Service was erratic, they forgot a sauce for 15 minutes after food was delivered and served the wrong flavor dessert gelato (they didn't know what the day's special was) and never offered to take it off the bill. Way to pricey for such minimalist foods. Quality was good, just poor presentation (steak on a plate) and poor service.

The service was excellent. Every staff person that you passed acknowledged you and greeted you. The waiter was outstanding. The restaurant has a great location and the ambiance was wonderful. We were with a large group and the staff was able to handle our requests with excellent service. The biggest dissapointment was the food and the price. The food is average and the price point was very high.

The restaurant has a lot of tables that are too close together. The prices are kind of high for the food I received. The bread served before dinned was interesting to look at but not to eat. It tastes like there may be some sort of cheese in it, but just barely. I had the arugula salad with pears, which was actually quite good. My main course was the lobster risotto. The seafood in it was little overcooked and tough. I didn't have a bad experience at Bond45, but I'm not sure it good enough for me to come back.
