Experience was terrible. Price was outrageous for the quality of food and service. The fish that was ordered came with the head and tail, while the risotto and seafood dish I had lacked any real flavor. The risotto should not be considered risotto in the true Italian sense. The service was obvious to that of rookie wait staff. This is understandable; however, not when the price tag for the food is so high. To add insult to injury, I notified the maitre d through open table that it was my girlfriends birthday. No acknowledgme... read more
This restaurant has high end dining prices, but does not deliver with ambiance or service. For instance, they offer a cheese plate as an appetizer, but do not tell you what kind of cheese is on your plate or offer you crackers. They offer bread, but no butter and when we asked the waiter for butter he suggested olive oil and that is not a good pair for the type of bread. We were served room temperature water with our meal. Our waiter was unfriendly, uninformative, talked down to women, served men first and when we asked a qu... read more
Disappointing experience. My wife and I went for my birthday. The evening started off ok with the server providing a nice explanation of the menu, but it quickly went downhill from there. It was 10 minutes before the waiter took our drink order. Our appetizer arrived nearly five minutes before our drinks. We had barely finished half of our appetizer when our entrees arrived, which were so big my wife and I had left-overs for 6 straight meals. (The food deliverer said we should have ordered just one and split it, so we were m... read more
My family went to Bond45 for Mother's Day. We heard it was very expensive so we looked on line and the prices were not listed so we called to check. We were told the most expensive entree was $20 so we decided to go. We were shocked to see the dinner menu was being used at 11:30am. The least expensive entree was $28.00 and we were charged for everything else even the water. The final bill without any other beverages, and no dessert, was over $250.00 for the 4 of us. The food was good, but we would have enjoyed it more at 1/2... read more
My second visist in three months because the first visit was so good. Unfortunately, this second time was not as good as the first time. The menu has changed and they were out of some of their items, including veal & their signature fried ravioli. They no longer offer pasta which I found odd as an Italian restaurant/steak house. I ordered steak since that is what I enjoyed so much on my last visit, but this time it wasn't as flavorful. We also sampled the anti pasta bar items and was surprised that items weren't as seasoned ... read more
I can't say I was too impressed. We read the feedback, both good and bad, and decided to see for ourselves. For the price of the steaks, you can easily go to Ruth's Chris or Mortons. Our Ribeyes were slathered with so much butter, there was a greasy pool under the steaks. The appetizers were not bad...we got 4 extremely small pieces of cheese for the cheese plate which cost about $12 dollars...not worth the price. I can't believe the hype behind this restaruant. I'm not picky when it comes too food, however, I am picky when ... read more
Not one I would recommend. Service was stiff, slow and amaturish and food was pricey and ok.
Far too loud. The night you are asking me to review, two entrees were sold out at 7pm on a Monday. I returned two nights later, and three entrees were sold out at 7. I was attending a conference and didn't have a car, so this restaurant was one of few options in the area. I wouldn't return unless in a similar captive audience situation.
We had an awful experience at this restaurant! THREE confused hosts-2 confused servers - a table in the hallway and expensive food that I would not eat because the veal valdostana I received was all fried crust and NO VEAL!
