Reservation was for 8:30 did not get seated until 8:50.Then seated right next to the open kitchen, not good. Service was poor. For 180.00 plus tip I expected more, much more. Will not go back or recommened.
Steak overcooked; orders incomplete; food overpriced; bill was incorrect; wait staff wasn't attentive or knowledgeable. They just opened so it may take a while to get into the groove of things. So far, not impressed.
I was very disappointed with Bond 45. The prices were high and the quality of my food (and my companions) was poor. I would not return to this restaurant. As a hotel near a convention center, I was very surprised that they would not accomodate our request for separate checks - we were all on expense accounts.

Great service but more approprite for a professionla foodie! Very tradiatina/ italian steak hosue with lobster and steak. evrythinh a la carte. food was Ok but not the best. i would not go back . I probaby should have tried the steak or lobster dishes
Bond 45 was a major disappointment. They claim to be Italian/steakhouse/seafood. My wife and one of our friends ordered veal. Waitress returned and said they were out of veal. It was a 6 PM reservation on saturday night. So they had all day saturday to find veal somehwere in a major metropolitan area in time to serve it saturday night. They didn't. Somehow, a restaurant that calls itself Italian and charges top dollar did not think it important to have veal. I remain amazed by this.
While we enjoyed the food, the service and ambience were sub-par. A group of five noisy ladies were seated next to us, and they proceeded to absorb the waiter's attention for the rest of the evening. He completely ignored us and the other tables in the area.
I would not dine here again. I went at the recommendation of a coworker, who forwarded a review from a DC Food Critic. Well, the critic reviewed a pasta dish, but there was no pasta on the menu! I was told my the server that the menu changed recently. Also, don't be fooled by the menu posted on the site. I write many reviews for all of my restaurant visits through Open Table. I am always honest and fair. I would say that 90% of the time, I am able to write something positive. I have to say that this time - that will not be the case. This was a terrible restaurant experience all the way around - food to service! The prices were high, the food adequate at best, service horrible and on top of all of this, they charge an automatic 18% gratuity for a party of 5 and don't even warn you.
