STeak was good, but expensive. View from the deck seating was great! Service was fair at best. Most sides were sleepers. Wish we would have chosen a different restaurant.
This restaurant was a huge disappointment, especially if you've been to the one in NYC. We sat outside, a mistake because the nearby outdoor movie is loud. The servers--they switched mid-service--were awful. They bumped us repeatedly when serving an adjacent table. They spilled a lot and one was condescending when our party simply asked the difference between the many veal options on the menu. Speaking of the menu, there is only one pasta option and it's a total after-thought. And the antipasti selections pale in comparison ... read more
Very expensive and the food was only good. The wait staff was very friendly but extremely slow. Took some time after we were seated to have our order taken and when it was time to leave, we had to look for our waiter b/c there was no wait staff in site. For that much money I'd rather spend it at a different restaurant where the food is exceptional and the service great. Likelihood of returning is very low.
An Italian restaurant with no pasta dishes is just weird. I had the lobster risotto and it was not very good. There was plenty of lobster and other seafood, but the risotto was not creamy or rich at all. There was no parmesan in this risotto, which is what makes the dish for me. I had trouble deciding what to order since I wasn't in the mood for a steak. Maybe the steaks are what should be ordered at this restaurant. Overall I was underwhelmed. And then finally, they did not register my opentable reservation so I got an emai... read more
A $48 T-bone was more than marbeled, it was fatty. The au-gratin potatoes looked and tasted more like frozen tater tots. Great popovers.
The dining experience was different for me, we ordered the lemon chicken then for the side I ordered asparagus and it did not come out with my chicken, I'm not sure who forgot to bring it out with my dinner. The asparagus was tuff but other than that it was ok. For a $72 dinner for two, it could have been better.
My dining experience was not good. The food was bland and boring. There were 3 people in my party and we all felt the same way. This restaurant is way too expensive to serve food that has no flavor. As for service, there were numerous employees walking around but yet, everything took an extra long time. I got the sense that most of the employees didn't have a clue. I also didn't appreciate a comment made by the manager. The bottom line is that neither I or my friends will ever dine at this restaurant again.
I ordered the NY Steak. it was cooked wrong TWICE (I ordered black and blue which I asked, before ordering, whether they could actually cook it that way). First time it came out it was not black at all. Second time it was very overcooked. So, i basically had no dinner, as my wife was almost done with her food after the second time and I did not want to make my family sit and wait on me at that point. In other restaurants when this has happened on occassion, the manager is courteous enough to come over and apologize, and send... read more
I read other reviews about Bond45 that were mixed- but have to agree with the people who said it was not worth the money. I had the ribeye and my wife the sea bass. The steak was fatty and much of it was inedible. First time I ever had a 20oz steak and left dinner hungry. Sides were not very good either.
