Our waiter was rather sullen and inattentive; had to be asked about Specials after we heard him delivering his speech to a nearby table. As this seems to be a steak/seafood restaurant, I ordered filet mignon, which was definitely NOT filet mignon. The first bite was an awful piece of gristle, and it just got worse after that. THE WAITER DIDN'T TELL US THE SPECIALS. WE HEARD ANOTHER WAITER MENTION THEM AFTER WE ORDERED. tHE PEAR SALAD WAS VERY OVERPRICED, WITH VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF PEAR AND ALOT OF LETTUCE. tHE PORTIONS WERE SMALL. wE WERE 2 WOMEN , SO IT WAS FINE. mY HUSBAND WOULD HAVE STARVED.
We had chosen the restaurant based on the pizza recommendation, and were very displeased to find out that pizza was not served before a certain hour. All of the food options were grossly overpriced, for the quality. I would have chosen a different restaurant had I known how expensive the food would be for the low quality.
I had a 6 pm reservation and was seated promptly. Food was very good but service was so slow that we were unable to have desert because we had an 8pm show.
Good spot for tourists. Not for NYer. Very expensive for so-so food.
Not worth the money! Many, many, many better restaurants in NYC. Skip this one!
Overpriced, poorly prepared, unimaginative, tasteless, massive dining hall
I was so looking forward to this, but was so disappointed. We had reservations, and were given a table back by the service bar. We had more service from other wait staff than we did our waitor. The food was very good, although overpriced. I will say other tables seemed to be getting the proper attention, it left me feeling very sorry that we were there.
Overrated is the only word that comes to mind. I was ver disappointed, considering it was highly rated on Open Table. The quality of food for the price was extremely disappointing. $11.00 for a Mimosa served in a glass no bigger than a shot glass!! The omelette and pasta we had were very bland...no flavor at all. We are in the city a lot, and this is one restaurant we won't be returning to.
