Ive been to this restaurant many times before and loved it. This time the service was terrible.
The people that manage Bond 45 should take long look at the way the restaurant is run. 1st of all I was with a party of 12. We were cramped into a table in the back of the restaurant. It was hot and I was uncomfortable since I could not see an exit sign or a way out in the envent of a fire. We ordered appetizers and only received 3 of the 4 we requested. We waitied over an hour for the main course to come. We were surrounded by people on all sides. This was not a good experience for our group. We will not return.
Did not get there. called to cancel. Unfortunately our plans changed.
our 2 courses came out at one time,clearly not cooked to order. 2nd meal there that was unacceptable. We won't go back.
Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, but our food came almost too quick. As if the food was already prepared before we ordered it. The quality was not there. The risotto was not creamy and flavorful. The pasta was bland. Our reservation was for 8 and we were in no hurry to get anywhere, so we did not appreciate being moved along so quickly. It was a Sunday night and quite noisy. I requested a table on the second level, no booth and the girl sat us on the noisy lower level with loud bar noise, in a banquet set for six and we only had five, therefore conversation was impossible. bad day only, we hope - as we're returning tomorrow for dinner. Bad service, bad menu, bad attitude - didn't know their brunch menu had nothing they do well.
I have dined here many times and usually thoroughly enjoyed it. However, me and my group were totally disappointed this time. The restaurant was actually out of its signature dish. In addition, I found the wait staff to be extremely rude and unhelpful. The entire table was served their entrees except for my wife. The food was OK, decent and with no bad dishes among our party; but none were outstanding. For the price we expected a better culinary experience. The wine in particular was quite overpriced, priced at about 3.5 times store prices against a more standard industry multiple of 2.5 times. Our waiter was terrific, but we wouldn't rush back. We chose it this time since it was one of the few with available seating at the last minute on a Saturday might.
