Have enjoyed numerous Fireman meals and despite being pricey, I am usually very satisfied. Brunch at Bond 45 was a diaster with the wost service you could imagine. The order was delivered incorrectly in both presentation and content and it took quite awhile for our server to arrive; when he finally did come his attitude was condescending and although he was able to correct it, he never came back to see if we were satisfied. In fact, he never even brought our check despite knowing we had a show to catch. We had to get up and ... read more
In the past, this has been a good restaurant to visit in the Theater district in Manhattan. On our latest visit, however, the food was not brought to the table until an hour and thirty minutes after we arrived, despite the fact that we advised that we had theater tickets for that evening. We received a gift card to fireman's hospitality group so we picked Bond 45 as our restaurant. The food was decent, but way too over priced! You're in the theater district and they mark everything up there. The tables are really close together. The service was not great. The waiter didn't even introduce himself. Just came up to our table and asked if we were ready.
slowing declining into a fair fare restaurant when once it was destined for much better
Food is great. Service is great. Loved our lunch.
Waiter was too busy. Had to ask for things two or three times. The place was empty!. Hard to get a check at the end of the meal. We were not taken to our table; we were told where it is and to go sit down. Can't go back with a client again. Too bad, I work for VIACOM and we're right across the street.
Was everything I thought a spot in Times Square would be--- A Great place to take my parents when they came in from out of town to see a Broadway show. Honestly, didn't love my crab cake, thought there was too much other stuff going on around it (a strange slice of bread acted as a bed for the cake. Why? Just didn't taste fresh enough for me). I did enjoy the mozzarella/tomato appetizer that we had, as well as the bread. Overall VERY convenient to the theater and palatable for pickier, more old-fashioned folks who just want ... read more
Tourist trap.
Convenient to Times Square; otherwise, forgettable.
