I am extremely disappointed at the recent inaccurate billing statement. The technician for Bottini fuel took advantage of my Goodwill to upsell a repair with all new parts on a functional oil burner. In-home sales to Senior Citizens are a Highly regulated area under both State and Federal Law. I have been an ongoing customer for years. Every time we get a delivery of oil or propane within 24hrs, we get a nasty phone call from the company informing us we have an outstanding balance. No oil will be delivered until the bill is paid. On August 28th my wife called the company and told them to hold all deliveries unless they hear from her. Speaking to the customer service representative she stated that it was agreed upon that if my wife didn't call back. Bottini would start delivering again on September 23. Which is untrue. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!Oil is more expensive and HVAC service $206. for a tech coming into your house and checking temp and verification for condensation on condenser. ??
Absolutely terrible! My family has been with Bottini for well over 25 years. My mother refused to go with a different company even after they installed a new boiler years ago which had problems every year for the first four years!! My siblings and I were so fed up with the maintenance calls for a brand new boiler but my mother remained loyal! The property manager *************************, or something, is not so bright as she believes lies. If you prank call her, she believes it. Not a college educated person, by far, as she did not do her due diligence. I'm not sure how she got her job. She should be fired or re-trained or find a new gig. Also, the techs that live in my complex which also belongs to this company are rude, dirty, curse, yell, intimidate and threaten other tenants because they do not get reprimanded or evicted so they continue this bad behavior. ... read more
I was sent a letter telling me they wanted to start charging a tank rental fee. Neither a due date nor an amount was presented in the letter. Two weeks later, they deducted $175 from bank account without any invoice or warning. This caused an overdraft fee. Set up a cleaning service prior year. It seemed to disappear in their booking.I was called and offered the apparent 1 and only day left this month available on short notice and totally not feasible. Poor ***************** Unauthorized charges to my charge card on record. After 4 years, Bottini suddenly starts charging me propane take rental fee.
Only rating one star because I have to. This company is horrible. Because I don't use enough fuel, they have decided out of the blue to send me a bill. Stating that it's a rental fee due to not purchasing enough. I rent a small 2 bedroom, single mom with my son. I don't have a contract with them. I've been in my home since 12/2019.
