Only rating one star because I have to. This company is horrible. Because I don't use enough fuel, they have decided out of the blue to send me a bill. Stating that it's a rental fee due to not purchasing enough. I rent a small 2 bedroom, single mom with my son. I don't have a contract with them. I've been in my home since 12/2019. Never received this. What gives this company the right to fill their pockets with my frugality. Its been nothing but headaches with this company. Do not touch this company with a barge pole. They have zero business ethics and are bullies. They left me with no heat for 12 days, charged my credit card without authorization and then lied about it. Read past these fake glowing reviews and ask around - you will soon start hearing horror stories from just about anyone and everyone!As someone else commented below, their technicians (who are all lovely) have no clue how to fix things. Do yourself a favor and go with a company who actually cares.
I've been a customer several years, maintaining payments up until late due to financial distress. I clearly expressed my dilemma and have paid as much, as soon as I can. The last couple of years, I've paid for service of my furnace, which never occurred. Through inquiry, they told me it was my responsibility to schedule and they will not reimburse. We've been getting our propane from Bottini for over 6 years. We had them install a new propane furnace in 2015. In early January, our furnace went out. We called Bottini. Thus began the fruitless process which has resulted in our still being without heat over a month later. At least 5 different technicians were sent out. The first guy was the worst -- was here for FOUR HOURS. 3 techs came in the last 8 days and the issue seems to get worse. The last tech cost me $900.00 and 40 minutes after he left -same problem but worse. Am now awaiting 4th tech to arrive to correct the last one, its 9:00 PM and I am NOT a happy camper......
I was originally happy with Bottini but three months into being a member we find out that they never filed any paperwork with the town as is required. They are based in the same town. We had to pay a $100 penalty to the town and they would not give us our CO because of the issue, we tried many times working with them and the only person who can submit this paperwork, Tavanda does not follow through. Two weeks and still no air-conditioning. I called for air conditioner repair two weeks ago and still nothing.
Botini is the worst service and untrustworthy company ever! I had a gas leak and it took 7 calls & 7 visits by 7 different mechanics to fix it. This was a generator hookup line, that done by Botini and they billed me for the gas leak call each time and it wasn't even fixed. They adjusted the bill each time after I had to call and tell them, that the leak was at the connection of the gas-line pipe that Botini has installed just weeks prior to the leak detection. Crooks! 15+ years a loyal customer. They charged me $382 for a part they burnt up troubleshooting a problem. Had a heated battle With the service manager. He just talked over me and pretty much called me a liar. I finally got a call from the owner which was as helpful as speaking with the service manager.
