They were able to get me in the next morning after telling them I had taken my dog to emergency vet the week before. The doctor was very friendly and knowledgeable and explained the radiology report that the emergency vet (different vet) had failed to call me back to explain. They did not over charge and I was surprised by the low cost for the exam, updated vaccinations, and a pain medication for my dog. I can't say enough good things about Brentwood Veterinary Hospital. They are compassionate, have great customer service, and they did a great job taking care of my Great Dane, Bo. He lived a long and happy life, just passing recently at almost 13 years old. Over the course of my time with them, Bo had a number of health issues and I always felt like they were my partners in keeping him well. We love our Vet and her staff! We drive 15-20 mins farther from our nearest Vet clinic just because of their staff and customer service training. Why is everyone so happy here? Love it! Our Dr is kind and very informative. She is patient and explains our different options for Kalani and what to expect in the upcoming months. Keep up the AMAZING work BVH!!!
Brentwood Veterinary saved my dog today, February 24, 2021 when no other veterinary hospitals would even see me. They were completely full and after realizing the emergency relating to my puppy they squeezed me in .We have not concluded that my puppy is out of the woods yet but so far I am way more relieved and confident that they will come up with the best plan for him. Our two Papillons have been Dr. Ruygt's patients for several years. Dr. Ruygt always provided valuable information allowing us to make informed decisions about the care of our dogs. When it became time to say goodbye to one of them, Dr. Ruygt and the staff at Brentwood Vet helped make a very difficult experience a little easier. The level of professionalism of all the staff is exceptional!
Brentwood Vet took great care of our dog. Everyone from the front desk, to the Techs, to the Vets were awesome. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to our elder dog. Everyone was so kind, understanding, thoughtful, and respectful to us during the entire process. You will really feel cared for at Brentwood Vet. We also really liked having Dr. Ruygt as our Vet.
It has been years since my dog has seen a vet and he has grown fairly aggressive to men and other dogs. So this time I searched for a place that had a woman veterinarian. My friend recommended Brentwood Vet Hospital and when I looked on their sight it was a staff complete of women! It was simply the easiest vet visit we have ever had. They are polite, welcoming and explain every single cost you may incur before they do anything. I am very happy and will be back with both my dogs and cat when they need to!
Took my very sick kitty into these folks...I am new to area, so this was a new vet for me. They are so friendly and helpful...and my shy, skittish kitty loved them. She is on the mend now, and Dr. Jacobsen was her doctor--she is a very sweet and professional vet. She also lets you know up front what the cost of treatment is, which for many folks is a real issue. I had to take my Male cat Sheldon to the vet because I could see a lot of red on his gums. I looked up vets on Yelp to read reviews and Brentwood Vet had great reviews. Took him in for the Vet to have a look at his terrible mouth. Unfortunately Sheldon had a incurable gum disease. She showed me the damage it had caused and gave a print out all about this disease.
