What wonderful angel vets work here! When I called my normal vet with a pet emergency I was told "We have no vet on duty today". I was scared because my cat's hind legs were cold and she couldn't walk on them. I called Brentwood Vet and they got me right in that afternoon, got my cat's records from the other vet and I grabbed my cat. Ended up having to humanely put my favorite cat to sleep suddenly. All the staff here are wonderful. We started taking our three dogs here after another flakey vet in town didnt have a full time doctor and it was a great decision. They treat your dogs well here and the vet always personally follows up with an after visit phone call so I feel they truly care. They also have an app which lets me schedule appts very easily. My husband and I want to compliment Brentwood Veterinary Hospital for helping us through an extremely difficult experience. It was finally time to send our 16 year SMARTEST, BEST dog in the Universe to join his buddies in Pet Heaven. As you can imagine this was a HEART-Wrenching event. These folks are so amazing I can't even explain. Well I can, I have been looking for a vet for a while now and I had one emergency with one of my pups they saw me right away. On this day I saw Dr Sharp she was so super sweet to my Pitt and very thorough. My pup didn't have a foxtail in her nose but a bee sting. Love her. So glad we switched to Brentwood Veterinary Hospital!!! Very personable staff when I walked in for an appointment as a first time client. They had our records transferred over from our previous vet, which was nice. I didn't have to go get them myself. We saw Dr. Sarah, she was fantastic! Got right on Max's level. I called in late Friday in a panic my dogs seizure specialist in Dublin decided at 5pm on a Friday they were going to deny a medication refill that I requested Monday. I was told he needed blood work before they refilled this medication :/. Umm ok it's Friday at 5??? Since we moved to the Oakley area we needed to find a great Vet for our Cocker Spaniel, Tallie. We gave BVH a shot and we couldn't be happier with out decision. We (and Tallie!) absolutely adore the Doctors @ BVH..especially Dr. Amy Olsen. She's so friendly, gentle and loving with Tallie and this brings Tallie's anxiety level down tremendously. Brought my first dog Jedi over there and the staff was helpful from the get go. Also they gave me really good tips on how to train and raise my Dobe. Dr. Olsen made us feel right at home and really relaxed and Jedi loves her and he doesn't even feel like he is afraid to go there, he actually gets excited when we walk through the doors. They made appt for all his shots and got reminders for every appointment which is really helpful when you have a busy schedule. We have been patients of BVH for seven years and we've had wonderful service for the usual stuff- exams, immunizations, and little problems here and there. We have always seen Dr. Sharp and once in a while, a sprinkle of her associates as needed. Recently, our long-haired chihuahua was hit by a truck and needed emergency care. After calling them while driving her there, they were ready for my baby and gave her the BEST care! Dr. Sharp was able to save her little mangled paw and tail.
