Best vet I've been to yet. Always friendly, communicative, and professional. I've had Dr. Tracewell and Dr. Olsen, and both of them are great. They answer every single question and listen to everything I have to say (Unlike Antioch Vet). Everyone truly cares for the animals. I came home one day and my dog was so lethargic and moved so slow. I've been using Brentwood Veterinary Hospital for 17 years now, since I moved to Brentwood. I intended to select a small animal veterinarian as soon as possible, but I before I could do that, I had an emergency after hours within a week after arriving in Brentwood. I was so impressed by what happened. I called the office which connected me to the owner at that time, Dr. Schnittker. Having recently moved to Brentwood, our family had not yet chosen a new vet. Then, sadly, tragedy struck. Our precious chihuahua was severely injured at home. I dropped my housecleaning, and the kids (who didn't take time to put shoes on) and I (still in my housecleaning grubbies) rushed to the nearest vet we found on Google. I have been going to this vet office for three years. They have been awesome with every experience. Their staff is wonderful, their doctors are caring and they are technically up to date. I am sad to say I have to switch vets, because I recently moved, but I will miss this office!

A wonderful Veterinary Hospital. We have used them for general health care for our dog as well a special surgery needs. Dr Odom is the best. Such a competent and caring doctor. We have full confidence in Dr. Odoms skills and talents. Jack and Lynn

All I can say is that I love Dr. Simms and BVH. I have been going to them for quite awhile with my Aussie. As Pepper ages she developed various health issues.They were all great to deal with. Unfortunately this year, I had to put Pepper to sleep. She was going to be 14 and her health was failing and she was in constant pain. It was so difficult especially since she a gift from my late husband. Dr. Simms and her staff were tremendous and sympathetic to my situation. It is never easy but that helped me through it all. I am a dog breeder who moved here from out of state this past year. We breed Boxers and had a litter several months ago. We see either Dr Olsen or Dr Sharp and they are both fantastic. Dr Sharp did a fantastic job on the tail docking. We have had issues with other vets doing poor jobs. Dr Olson was wonderful with us on our little runt who was sickly. We just moved to this area (and California) only a few short weeks ago so I used Yelp to find my dog a vet. She has allergies that are just crazy and her last shot has pretty much worn off. We took the dog to see Dr. Sims and what a delightful experience that whole encounter was! Brought my new dog to the Brentwood Veterinary Hospital for a check up and am quite pleased. The office is neat, clean and inviting and is very conveniently located to my home right down the street from a shopping center w/a Safeway & CVS store.
