This is a nice diner very near the theater we were going to. Other reviews noted how good the chicken pot pie is. My wife wasn't disappointed - it was huge and delicious. I had the chicken parmigiana which was another enormous portion and very tasty. A friend recommended their cheesecake but after taking out the chicken parm I didn't have room. Next time!
This restaurant is not your run of the mill diner! It has exquisite, unique entrees that are quickly served. A lot of homemade entrees like Mom would make. I will definitely visit the next time I am in town. Our waitress was delightful:)
three egg omelet was too big and over cooked Cheese cake was delicious
This was just what I expected and was looking for - a diner to have brunch just before a Wednesday matinee Broadway show. My sister-in-law and I shared an omelette (veggies and feta) and an order of blueberry whole wheat pancakes. Our waiter was friendly and attentive assuring that our small coffee mugs were continually filled. The booths were comfortable and the wood décor was beautiful and for some reason it made me feel like I was sitting in the dining car of an old luxurious train.
Busy, touristy, big and pretty expensive. But the menu is huge, the portions are big and the food isn't bad. We had very good chicken soup and a decent tuna melt. If you're looking for soup and a sandwich you could do much worse.
Good food , nice people, great place Go see for yourself:-)
Great burger, awesome service. Although we didn't have the Chicken Pot Pie it looked amazing!
The service was slow considering the number of waitstaff they had. The food was good, really appreciated the gluten free bread option for the burgers. Many options on the menu to choose from for sure. Prices are a bit high, but it is NYC after all and in the theater district. Would recommend making reservations if you have a crunch on time.
When we go into NYC we love to go to the Brooklyn Diner Times Square. The food is consistently good and the service is efficient , friendly, and top notch. Highly recommend!
