I hesitate to give the Brooklyn Diner a 5 star review because this is just diner food, not French cuisine. Still, they do a very good job with good old American standards. My only complaint is that the place is too small and it would be great if they could expand their seating area. Wife agrees.

The menu had changed a little since we were last there which was very disappointing to our kids who were looking forward to certain items. We’d even looked at the menu online the night before and that hadn’t been updated. Overall the food was decent and the portions were reasonable for the price.

Host was super nice. Waiter was nice but very slow and not the most attentive. Food was great and had a fun seat by the window. Will give it another go another time.

The restaurant was packed, the noise level very high, the chicken in the pot yummy. Everyone was happy with their meal. Next time we shall return to the Brooklyn Diner updpwn. More our style.

We love the Brooklyn Diner on 57th Street, and now we love the one on 43rd. The chicken pot pies at both places are hard to match. The giant hot dogs are delicious. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

I had the chicken pot pie which was delicious and huge. The puff pastry on top was perfect. The turkey reuben was good as was the chicken Cubano. It is a bit more expensive then other diners in close proximity but the quality of food and service was higher. Our waiter was great.

Aunt-Niece girls weekend. Excellent food. Convenient location and a real diner. Loved it.
