Food was decent but not outstanding. Service was a bit spotty. $100 breakfast for 3 is a bit steep for diner food, even in Manhattan!
Food waa ok, not the best breakfast place in New York. I'd recommend Route 66 if you're up that end. Was one of the more expensive. Inside was absolutely freezing cold, I didn't want to take my coat off

I’m so glad I took a chance and chose this place for lunch. It was perfect for me and my teenage son on a day trip to the city. It was a very cold day right after Christmas. Getting a table anywhere was a challenge. The host took us in much earlier than our reservation and the place was packed. The service was efficient and our hot pastrami on cheeseburgers was decadent and delicious. Be prepared to pay a premium—but the cool vibe and excellent location near Time Square can’t be beat.
A great place to visit with out of towners, who always appreciate the New York-ness of Brooklyn Diner and the satisfying comfort food.

Great for family! Visiting NYC and my spouse stumbled across this gem...the kids loved the milkshakes. The milkshakes were an artistic work and tasted good too!!
