Die Preise in NYC sind höher, als in vergleichbaren Locations. Das sollte nicht das Kriterium sein, wenngleich es natürlich stört, für 2 Burger, 2 Bier und 2 Wasser über 80USD zu zahlen. Was mich aber sehr stört, sind die bereits vorgeschlagenen Trinkgelder auf dem Kassenbon (gestaffelt in 20%, 22% oder 24%) und das Gleiche dann nochmals auf dem Kartenlesegerät, um einem die Quantifizierung des „Tips“ zu erleichtern. Surly waiters. Didn’t even look at you when taking our order. Over priced compared to others in the area
Not what it used to be . No strawberry milkshakes anymore no onion rings . I have nothing against healthy choices on a menu but I am not going to the Brooklyn diner for a quinoa dish .
The service was awful. 5 times to have our drinks. Burger are good but not that much ans the strawberry cheesecake are not so good
I ordered “The Omelette” which arrived lukewarm and very over cooked. My friend ordered scrambled eggs and bacon and her eggs were over cooked and dry as well. We had to ask for butter for our toast and bagel. A diner should know how to cook eggs. So for two orders of eggs and a soda, our bill was $70+ (including tip). I wouldn’t complain about the price quite as much if the food was great. It was a disappointment.
Veggie burger was obviously frozen and (true story) tasted like cinnamon. I sent it back but was still charged. Waitstaff is lovely, but food and policy makes it a place I won't go to again (we used to go pretty often).
Food was decent but service was poor: unpleasant waiter obsessed with going quickly and getting a tip.
We never leave negative reviews but this has to be a first. The cheeseburger tasted funky (how do you ruin a cheeseburger?) and the waffle toasted cheese was tasteless and frankly beyond inedible. A total waste.
Inattentive service. Food quality is regular. Very few options for vegetarians
