the manager was extremely rude - when we asked for our free glass of prosecco for Carnegie Hall subscribers as listed on their website, the new waitress who was very pleasant said she knew nothing about it and would ask the manager who came and informed us in a very rude tone of voice that not only were they out of prosecco they had no such deal with Carnegie Hall - when we asked to show him the website, he refused to look at it and said he didn't care what Carnegie Hall said - they were "smoking dope" as it were - and we sh... read more
Food was pre cooked and warmed in micro wave. Very very poor. Will never go back.
Been to Brooklyn Diner many times. Went for the first time in over a year last weekend. Prices have gone way up while quality of food has gone way down
the waiter was terrible...first off we waited about 15-20 minutes for a cup of soup..then my burger arrived and i had asked for a side of kugel...by the time he brought it to the table, i was already done with the burger...not a once did he come over during the meal to ask if i wanted more water (i ordered fiji), which i did

Breakfast is great, lunch is gross. Fries taste like they were cooked in the same oil as fish.
Way overpriced $$...average food. Expected more...was a mistake to stop...
We were there for lunch on a Saturday. We expected a lunch menu but only the brunch menu was being served. Very disappointing. The food was mediocre and there was no draft beer even though it was on the menu. We will not be going back.
This was not the uptown Brooklyn Diner, as it is under renovation. When I made the reservation in July, the Brooklyn Diner assured me it would be open by my reservation date in mid-October. The iconic neon lighting hinted that the place was open, but the sign on the door said the restaurant was closed, and directed us to a couple of blocks away where there was a far more expensive restaurant that had a tiny menu with about 5 Brooklyn Diner options.
