My wife ran the New York Marathon yesterday and not one bit of fuss made over her - the waitress was more concerned about her tip !
Service was slow. Even though the restaurant was only 1/2 filled. Waiters seemed to be hanging around. The rare hamburger I ordered came out well done. Waiter did not check on main dish to see if everything was OK. Two waiters were having a dispute about something, and we heard it all. They should have moved somewhere else to talk about their problem. We did not have to hear it! I will not go back.
food was really poor. pastrami and grilled cheese on waffle was awful. there was so little meat and cheese it was just waffle. I treated a client for lunch who hated it. He didn't like his cocktail either . Very disappointed !
In our reservation we mentioned we had someone with celiac disease with us. They never responded. At the restaurant basically everything we asked for was impossible. They were not cooperative at all. Disappointing for a rather expensive restaurant.
Service this time was terrible. The waiter were too busy and double shifting.
Die Preise in NYC sind höher, als in vergleichbaren Locations. Das sollte nicht das Kriterium sein, wenngleich es natürlich stört, für 2 Burger, 2 Bier und 2 Wasser über 80USD zu zahlen. Was mich aber sehr stört, sind die bereits vorgeschlagenen Trinkgelder auf dem Kassenbon (gestaffelt in 20%, 22% oder 24%) und das Gleiche dann nochmals auf dem Kartenlesegerät, um einem die Quantifizierung des „Tips“ zu erleichtern. Surly waiters. Didn’t even look at you when taking our order. Over priced compared to others in the area
Not what it used to be . No strawberry milkshakes anymore no onion rings . I have nothing against healthy choices on a menu but I am not going to the Brooklyn diner for a quinoa dish .
The service was awful. 5 times to have our drinks. Burger are good but not that much ans the strawberry cheesecake are not so good
