What used to be a reliable spot for great food, imaginatively created, reasonably priced, has become a place with typical New York diner food. Mediocre. Uninspired.
The sausage they brought me on the side was not soft at all and very greasy.
No good. Different menu, which was no good. Overall no good
They don’t actually take reservations. Walked 20 blocks just to be turned away. Don’t waste your time. OpenTable and the restaurant need to do better.
They don’t use OpenTable any more!!
Very noisy diner …prices too high for value …also, asked for Iced decaf and the glass was full of ice …when i asked for a little more i was charged for 2 drinks …very unfair …will not go back to the Brooklyn Diner
Over $100 for 2 average shakes 2 waffle meals and 1 terrible burger. We dined out 8 times while in NY and this was our least favorite restaurant.
It is a diner so the bar is not high. Soggy French toast almost inedible. Never again.
Had to ask 4 time for my coffee. Got my food before my drink
