We always go to Brooklyn diner for a great meal whenever we visit New York. The staff is so very friendly and the pancakes are amazing too!!!!
Best pot pie ever!! Excellent cheesecake.
The food is great and the proximity to Carnegie Hall is what made us choose the Brooklyn diner. Don’t go here if you want a romantic quiet evening. It is loud and the tables are so close to each other that you can hear your neighbor’s entire conversation.

The place is charming and the staff were very efficient and friendly. The food was very good. The Chicken potpie was fantastic. Located right across the street from Carnegie Hall. Kind of expensive but your in NYC you kind of expect that. They are also very accommodating to children which is a welcome touch.

Real throwback to the old style diners. Right across from Carnagie Hall. Great food. Would definitely return.
Relatively simple menu with delicious choices in a diner atmosphere. Not too noisy, and pleasant service. The pea soup (with hot dogs) is a taste treat. Reservations recommended.
Staff is very nice. Food is mediocre. Service was slow. One person ordered a burger rare -- it was basically raw. Fortunately, he likes tartares.
