Wanted a nice place with good food before heading to Carnegie Hall. Glad we made reservations as the walk up wait time was over an hour and a half. One specialty dish is the Chicken Pot Pie and it was awesome. My wife and I spilt it and it was more than enough. The strawberry blonde cheesecake was also fabulous. We were in and out in about an hour and fifteen minutes, which was perfect. Great food at a very affordable price. The wait staff was also top notch. Would come back to this place over and over again if I lived in NY... read more
Solid food and service . Good go to place before Carnegie Hall for casual meal
Good restaurant
This place must be visited when in NYC. Not the Time Square one. The one on 57th street
I've been here a few times because it's so close to Carnegie Hall, right down the street less than a block. My girlfriend. Came with me and I split a bacon cheeseburger. The food is very good not going to say it isn't, but very expensive for a diner! Our bill came to without tip $52!! I would probably go again, because it is so convenient. Generally a pleasant experience. The dessert however was disappointing. We ordered a hot fudge sundae which was missing the whipped cream ( apparently they ran out ) and a cherry. The burgers and fries were delicious, though. Also we were lead to a table near the entrance. When I expressed concern about the opening door on a cold night, I was assured that it would be no problem.....well it was. Cold air breezed over me every time some one entered or exited.
Great food. Pricey but comfortable and fun. I would go again.
Place can become quite crowded, and that can subtract from quality service. However, food was awesome. Highly recommend the French Toast, it literally melted in my mouth.
Brilliant chilli dog. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, a little pricey but it’s all about the location. Would love to go back someday
