The staff at Broomy hill have been exceptional, friendly and very caring. My Gran has been very well looked after and she has settled in well. We enjoy visiting 2-3 times a week and the staff are chatty smiley and you can see that they care for all the residents. The manager is wonderful, she is full of energy and has a very caring nature. One staff member in particular is wonderful and very welcoming and always lets us know how my Gran has been. The receptionist always greets up with a smile and a chat. This is the perfect home for my wife and partner of over 60 years. The staff are very friendly and provide a truly relaxing environment. My wife has developed a close relationship with the staff and helps them in the kitchen and garden. She enjoys complete freedom within the home which is a much safer place than our own home. My mother-in-law has been at Broomy Hill for approximately 2 years, her care has been great and our family has seen a much improved condition. Having come to Broomy from another "care" home, which allowed a broken hip and ungradable pressure sore to go untreated! My mother-in-law is a wonderful lady who is finally getting the care she deserves. The staff are very engaging and every aspect of her care, dignity, health, and wealth of experience is catered for. My Mother-In-Law has been living in Broomy Hill Nursing Home for nearly 2 years. She settled in very quickly and I am very happy with her care. When I visit I am always greeted by happy smiling staff and if I have any concerns I always feel able to chat with staff.

My experience of Broomy Hill Nursing Home is very positive. Staff try hard to stimulate and remain calm and cheerful in difficult circumstances, and are very accommodating to visitors.

Apart from doing an excellent job of caring, the staff are always courteous and kind to the residents and often go out of their way to befriend their charges and make this place truly feel like home.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to everyone at Broomy Hill Nursing Home for the exceptional care they have provided my father since he arrived in July. A special mention must go to the care home manager, as a family, we were very nervous about our father's transition from his previous home in Wales but she made the move seamless and her support throughout was outstanding and the quality of care compared to his previous home had blown me away. Thank you once again.

My father was a resident from June to October 2024. It was a very difficult time for my dad. The medical challenges that he presented to the staff at Broomy Hill Nursing Home were challenging but everyone dealt with them with great professionalism and kindness. I could not recommend a better nursing home to look after your loved one.
