Broomy Hill Day Care and respite had been life-changing for my mum. Suffering from dementia and having other health difficulties means she needs understanding and patience. Two members of staff in particular and the team always make Mum so welcome and I feel like they genuinely care for her and me! It was Mum's birthday recently and they made her feel so special. My mum was a resident for 18 months before she passed away in January 2024. I can't recommend enough. The care staff are excellent. The team is consistent with little changes to the staffing. My mum saw the same people every day which is very comforting and was less confusing for her. The food was lovely and cooked every day on the premises. The rooms are modern and inviting. I knew all the staff, including the cook, and they knew me. I was so happy she was there. Thank you Broomy Hill.

My mum has been attending the daycare centre since October. Every time I collect her, she is in such high spirits saying how lovely everyone is there. She is also clearly being well-stimulated as she is more observant and doing some of her old habits like making sentences based on letters on registration plates. This may sound simple but for a few years now, Mum hasn’t engaged in this sort of fun thing and it makes us both smile. My beloved husband passed away at Broomy Hill late last month after being part of the Broomy Hill family for 8 years. I will never be able to fully thank all the staff for their professional care, compassion and love for him during his time with them.
